About Us

The importance of international human resource development has increased with the trend of globalization, and the training and development needs for international human resource professionals are relatively imperative. With these background factors, National Taiwan Normal University established “Graduate Institute of International Workforce Education and Development (IWED)” affiliated to the College of Technology in 2003. IWED officially renamed to “Graduate Institute of International Human Resource Development (IHRD)” in 2009, and is affiliated to College of International Studies and Education for Overseas Chinese since then. IHRD offers graduate degree program for local and international students. Except local students, the sources of international students include United States, Canada, Panama, Belize, St, Louisa, Honduras, Republic of El Salvador, Republic of Nicaragua, Republic de Bolivia, Heidi, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Republic of Senegal, Burkina Faso, Republic of The Gambia, Republic of Malawi, Swarziland, Russia, India, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, and so forth. IHRD sets its education goal as to cultivate human resource professionals with international perspective and specialties in cross-cultural communication.
