During my internship at Swagelok Taiwan, I gained comprehensive exposure to key HR functions, including recruitment, training and development, and employee relations. These tasks allowed me to gain practical experience across different stages of the employee lifecycle and understand how HR supports both organizational needs and employee experience.
The most impactful part of my internship was my involvement in the Structured Interview Workshop within Training & Development. I helped observe existing interviewing practices, identify areas for improvement, and refine the workshop content to better support managers’ interviewing skills better. This experience strengthened my ability to analyze training needs, develop learning materials, and evaluate effectiveness, deepening my interest in how well.
Reflecting on this internship, I learned how diverse and interconnected HR work truly is. Balancing multiple responsibilities taught me the importance of time management, communication, and adapting quickly to different situations. This experience confirmed my passion for HR—particularly in training and development—and motivated me to continue growing as an HR professional committed to meaningful and impactful people development.
