[Recruitment] Teaching Assistant – “Management and Modern Society” (Semester 115-1), Chang Gung University

Overall Teaching Objectives

  1. This course aims to help students understand and master the fundamental concepts and principles of management, including the roles, skills, and functions of management.
  2. It enables students to become familiar with corporate organizations and their internal and external competitive environments, and to make effective use of organizational resources to achieve high organizational performance.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Attend weekly classes on campus to assist with course activities (e.g., borrowing/returning teaching materials, taking attendance, and taking photos for documentation).
  2. Organize and summarize key points from students’ post-class discussions.
  3. Handle administrative tasks (e.g., group lists, seating charts, etc.).
  4. Serve as a communication bridge between the professor and students, helping students resolve course-related questions and difficulties.
  5. Assist the professor in improving the quality of class discussions and overall teaching effectiveness.
  6. Other ad hoc assignments as required.

Work Location

Chang Gung University (No. 259, Wenhua 1st Road, Guishan District, Taoyuan City)
(⚠️ Note: On-campus attendance is only required for class sessions; otherwise, physical presence on campus is not necessary.)


Class Schedule

The course “Management and Modern Society” will be offered in two sections in Semester 115-1:

  1. Monday class: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM every Monday
    (Most students are from the College of Medicine, e.g., Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Health Care Management, Nursing, etc.)
  2. Tuesday class: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM every Tuesday
    (Most students are from the College of Engineering, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, AI-related programs, etc.)

Employment Period

The appointment is based on a six-month contract. Candidates who can serve as a teaching assistant for one year or longer are especially welcome. Renewal for Academic Year 116 may also be considered upon mutual agreement.


Qualifications

Graduate students (master’s or doctoral level) in fields such as Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, International Business, Humanities and Social Sciences, or related disciplines in business and management. Applicants should have enthusiasm for teaching, as well as patience and passion.
