I’m Brian a first year student in the IHRD program.
Today I will mainly share with you my internship life in Sysage Technology Co Ltd.
It will be divided into three parts:
- How did I get this internship?
When I was an undergraduate, I did not have a human resource background, so I did not get any offers after many interviews. However, after my continuous efforts and with the introduction of a professor, I succeeded in finding a job as a human resource intern in the IT industry in the technology park. Therefore, it’s very important to keep trying. You don’t need to be discouraged because of several failures. At the same time, you have to take care of the connections around you.
- About my intern company and job description
Sysage is an ICT solution provider and belongs to BenQ/AUO group which is top 20 group in Taiwan, and our recruiting targets are mainly sales, engineering and product management.
My main job is to analyze the trends of talent flow in the same industry, recruit and select talents, and discuss CSR issues, etc. It can be said that I can apply what I have learned. In addition, the supervisor is very friendly, there is no extra pressure, and it will not affect your schoolwork.
The company’s welfare for employees is also generous. In addition to basic safety and epidemic prevention, the company also provides KTV, free snack areas and massage rooms for their employees.
- Some words for future IHRD students
Before you graduate, you should enrich yourself. You don’t have to be confined to your major. Try to look into different licenses or courses in engineering, marketing, or even catering. In the future, these skills may be a cornerstone for you to find good jobs or good connections.
